"The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out air strikes in the province of Idlib on targets of illegal armed groups involved in shelling the positions of Syrian government troops," Interax cited Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit as saying of the Saturday attack. Livent CEO Paul Graves will take the top job at the newly minted Arcadium Lithium, if Allkem shareholders vote for the deal on Dec. 19. Financial markets worldwide pay close attention to the wage trends in the world's third-largest economy. Inflation-adjusted real wages, a barometer of consumer purchasing power, dropped in September by 2.4% from a year earlier after a revised 2.8% fall the month before, data from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare showed. Base salary growth in September advanced by 1.4% year-on-year, from a revised 1.2% increase the previous month, the data showed. Overtime pay, a gauge of business activity, went up in September by 0.7% year-on-year, after a revised 0.2% gain in August.

Nov 6 (Reuters) - A Jewish man who fell to the ground in an altercation amid pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian street protests in California died on Monday, and his death was determined to be a homicide, law enforcement and a Jewish organization said. The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles identified the victim as a Jewish man and labeled the incident as the fourth act of antisemitic violence in the Los Angeles area this year and the second since Oct. 7. Kessler was involved in a physical altercation between counter-protesters, the sheriff's office said, citing witness accounts. "During the altercation, Kessler fell backwards and struck his head on the ground. The sheriff's office said it would hold a news conference on Tuesday about the incident.
